Experimenting with book binding

I have began experimenting with ways to bind books, this is one of the ways i experimented with, by sowing the pages together this gives the book a neat bind. I can easily add a hard back to this by gluing it in place of a paper or hard back.

This book was my second attempt at sowing and is larger than the first with more pages.
Here is an example of inside the book and the layout of a page (rough sketch) i want to make the pages larger and the book may include more text on the pages around the drawings.
